The Project

The Citizenship Project is designed to enlighten citizens to a new concept of citizenship and its duties. Since citizens are the base of power in democratic forms of government its main focus is citizen awareness and training. It promotes the idea that the most important thing each citizen should know how to do is to fulfill their most critical responsibility - - the election of people of knowledge, wisdom, ability, and high moral character to represent them.

The Citizenship Project promotes the idea that the process of democratic action and decision making is as important as the end result.  It should have a collaborative, not an adversarial spirit to it.  It maintains that democracy is not a spectator sport and citizenship must be a regular, rational, and responsible activity.
